Clean up the current account first

Before you touch the KYC reset flow, prepare the account properly. Clear remaining balances and remove anything still tied to the old setup, including phone or email verification, 2FA, and API keys. Deleting the account is usually a poor shortcut here, because reusing the same KYC identity can become harder for a while.

Open the Reset KYC support path

On the app, the cleanest route is usually Customer Support → Self Service → KYC, then the Reset KYC flow. The layout can vary a little between app and web, but the important part is entering the official reset path rather than trying to force a fresh signup too early.

Choose the reset reason and confirm

When the update screen opens, select the reason, review the notice, and continue through the confirmation step. A common route is using Documents expired, which is often the smoothest way to open the reset flow.

Reach the reset-complete screen, then return

Once the fresh verification screen appears, treat that as the point where the reset has taken effect and return to the main account view. It is safer to confirm the old link is really cleared before pushing straight through the new verification flow.

Open the account menu and make sure the previous identity link is no longer active. If the old state is still hanging around, the rejoin flow can get messy. Reusing the exact same email or phone setup immediately can also need extra cleanup, so keep that in mind as you move forward.

Once that cleanup is done, start again through the Tethercycle referral link. Using direct email or phone signup is usually easier to verify than social signup when you want the referral path to stay clear.

Finish the new KYC and reconnect the UID

After the new signup and verification are complete, register the new UID on Tethercycle. Once review is done, the Binance commission and payback flow can be linked again.

Can existing accounts still be linked?

That depends on your current referral state and the exchange policy. New accounts are the simplest path, while existing-account users should review the existing-user tab and the UID registration flow first.

When does payback actually start?

Once the signup path is valid, UID registration is complete, and review has finished, the payback flow can follow the normal trading and settlement cycle.

Where do I check settlement and payout status?

The guide explains the structure, but My Payback is the clearest place to confirm your real UID link and payout history.

Is UID registration enough on its own?

UID registration is the main connection step, but the account still needs to be created through the right path and meet any exchange requirements such as verification.

What if the status is pending or rejected?

Re-check the UID value, signup path, and whether the account is new or existing. The fastest next step is usually reviewing this page and your My Payback status together.
