Binance KYC Guide
Binance verification is worth finishing early if you plan to trade futures, expand withdrawal limits, or use more account features. Submission itself usually takes only a few minutes.
Menu labels may change slightly depending on app or web version updates.
What to prepare first
- Prepare to take clear photos of your document in a bright place with low glare.
- Double-check that the name on your account matches your document.
- Enable camera permission in advance so the selfie step goes smoothly.
Verification steps
Open the verification menu
After logging in, open the Profile area and look for Identification or Verify. Choose the personal account flow.
Select country and document type
Choose your residence country and the ID type you want to submit. A passport is often the easiest to photograph cleanly.
Enter your basic details
Fill in your legal name, date of birth, and nationality. Keep everything exactly aligned with your document.
Upload your document
Take and upload the requested document images. Avoid cropped edges, blur, or glare that hides important text.
Finish selfie verification
Complete the selfie or liveness check, submit, and then wait for the approval result in the app or by email.
Tips for faster approval
- Capture the full document with all edges visible.
- Remove hats, masks, and dark glasses before the selfie scan.
- After submission, give the review some time instead of repeatedly resubmitting.
If you get stuck
- A mismatched legal name can trigger a manual review.
- Disabled camera access often blocks the selfie step.
- Some flows require a live capture rather than uploading an old photo.
