OKX KYC Guide

Finishing OKX verification early makes futures trading, withdrawals, and account security setup smoother. Follow the steps below to avoid unnecessary delays.

What to prepare first

  • Review your legal name and date of birth before starting.
  • Clean your camera lens and prepare a shot that shows the full document.
  • Use a bright place where your face is clearly visible for the selfie scan.

Verification steps

Open the verification menu

After signing in, find Verification or Identity Verification under your profile or settings.

Choose personal verification

Start the personal verification flow, then select your country and document type.

Enter your legal details

Fill in your legal name, birth date, and nationality exactly as shown on your document.

Upload document images

Upload clear photos of the required document. Fresh, sharp images are safer than older blurry photos.

Finish selfie verification

Complete the face scan or liveness step, submit, and wait for the review result.

Tips for faster approval

  • A darker background can help the document edges stand out.
  • If your name includes spaces or hyphens, copy the exact document format.
  • Avoid sending multiple different submissions during review.

If you get stuck

  • Cut-off document edges often lead to rejection later in review.
  • If your webcam is unreliable, switching to the mobile app may help.
  • If approval seems delayed, also check your spam folder for email notices.
