EdgeX Account Setup Guide

EdgeX can start with either wallet connect or email sign-in. The key is deciding which account path you will actually trade with and then confirming the exact account ID or wallet address you will register.

What to prepare first

  • Decide first whether you want wallet connect or email onboarding.
  • If you use email onboarding, confirm where the generated wallet address appears in the app.
  • Only register the exact account ID or wallet address that you will really trade with.

Account setup flow

Open the official app

Move into the official EdgeX app or trading screen. You can choose the setup path from the account area.

Connect your wallet or sign in by email

If you use wallet connect, approve the connection. If you use email onboarding, finish the verification flow and let the app prepare the account.

Confirm the real identifier you will trade with

For wallet setup, confirm the connected address. For email onboarding, confirm the generated account ID or wallet address and keep one identifier as your main one.

Pre-register it on Tethercycle

Register the confirmed identifier on Tethercycle so the support check can move faster once live coverage opens.

Tips to move faster

  • Stick to one primary wallet or one primary account from the beginning.
  • If you start by email, double-check that the generated wallet is the same one you plan to trade with.
  • Remove accidental spaces when copying the identifier into Tethercycle.

If you get stuck

  • If the wallet popup does not appear, check whether your browser extension is being blocked.
  • If the address does not show right away after email onboarding, reopen the account or wallet menu.
  • Support review may slow down if the registered identifier and the real trading address do not match.

Once the identifier is confirmed, go back to the EdgeX sign-up guide and continue to the Tethercycle registration step.
