Bitget KYC Guide
Completing Bitget verification early keeps the rest of the payback setup clean. Good lighting and a stable camera help reduce failed selfie attempts.
Menu labels may change slightly depending on app or web version updates.
What to prepare first
- The mobile app is often easier for document capture and face verification.
- Enter your name, birth date, and nationality exactly as shown on the document.
- If the document photo has glare, retake it before submitting.
Verification steps
Open Identity Verification
From the app profile or account menu, enter the Identity Verification section.
Choose your country and document
Pick your country and the ID type you want to submit. Use the document that is easiest to capture clearly.
Enter personal information
Fill in your legal name, birth date, and nationality. Avoid nicknames or shortened versions of your name.
Capture the document
Take the requested document images and check that the text is still sharp before continuing.
Submit the selfie scan
Finish the face verification step and submit. After approval, you can move on to UID registration.
Tips for faster approval
- Do not zoom the document image too aggressively.
- Keep your face centered during the selfie scan.
- If the app crashes, clear the app state and try again after signing back in.
If you get stuck
- If document upload works but the selfie step freezes, check your network first.
- A local-language name entry can trigger another review for Romanized spelling.
- If rejection reasons are vague, retaking the same document in better light often helps.
Once Bitget verification is done, move to the next step
